The LPWD has qualified and experienced construction professional sections comprising a multidisciplinary team of Building Designers  and Civil Engineering experts.

The  Department  aims  at  quality  and quantity  management  through  most modern techniques and human resource development.

The  regular programme of quality and quantity monitoring encompasses the entire activities of LPWD.

The  tender procedures and evaluation methods of LPWD are accepted and followed by other departments in Lakshadweep.
